Aer Lingus - Golf bags up to 23Kg can be carried at a rate of 50€ per flight, reduced to 40€ if booked online. Groups with golf bags should always contact Aer Lingus in advance.
Air Berlin - Instead of a suitcase, you can use your free baggage allowance to check in your golf clubs. If your golf clubs exceed the free baggage allowance included in your fare, you have the option of checking it in as a separate item of baggage as excess baggage, and paying the appropriate charge according to the ticket purchased. Golf clubs must be registered at least 48 hours prior to travel.
British Airways - Will only accept golfing equipment if it is packed in a recognised bag to safeguard against damage, with the total weight not exceeding 23Kg, and with maximum dimensions no greater than 190cm x 75cm x 65cm. If the total number of checked bags is more than your free checked allowance, then you will be required to pay an extra bag charge. Please note that a large golfing umbrella carried separately counts as one item of baggage.
Condor - Golf clubs up to 20Kg, can be carried at a charge of up to 39.99€ per flight segment if registered 30 days in advance. Additional fees apply if registered at the airport.
Easyjet - Golf clubs up to 20Kg, cost £35 per set if these are pre-booked or £45 if you pay the charge at the airport.
Flybe - Golf clubs can be carried, subject to there being sufficient space in the aircraft hold, and should always be pre-booked. If they are in addition to the free baggage allowance they will be charged at a rate of 40€ per flight.
Eurowings - Clubs can be carried at a charge of 50€ per flight.
Jet 2 - Golf bags are £30.00 (37€) per flight for each item up to 20kg, but you can save £5 by pre-booking online.
Fly Monarch - Monarch charge between £25.00 & £35.00 for the carriage of golf clubs weighing up to 20kg. Standard excess baggage charges apply for sets of clubs over this weight limit. All equipment is carried subject to sufficient hold space being available, and it is recommended that clubs are secured by padlocking any zipper type compartments.
Norwegian - Norwegian charges £33 - £43 per individual flight according to the length of journey. There is a discount when pre-booking online. Maximum weight, 20Kg.
Ryanair - Golf Clubs can be carried up to a limit of 20 kilos per item, upon payment of a discounted online fee of £30/€30 per item, per one way flight. If the clubs are added at the airport, or through a Ryanair call centre, a higher fee of £35/€35 per item/per one way flight will apply. Golf clubs weighing over the 20 kilos allowance will be charged for the excess at the applicable excess baggage rate per kilo.
TUI - TUI Airways will make a charge for the carriage of golf clubs, and these must be pre-booked via their call centre (0203 451 2695) at least 2 months before departure.
TUI Fly - Golf equipment up to 30 kilos is carried for a non-refundable fee of 65€ per sector and must be pre-registered on their website, or by calling their Service Centre. For golf baggage that is not pre-registered, the respective airline will charge a processing fee at check-in.
Vueling - Golf clubs can be carried for a fee of 35€ each way.
