There are two main seasons for golf in Mallorca. These are from March until June, and the months of September and October.

Whilst the temperatures in the rest of Europe can be relatively chilly in March, Mallorca generally experiences temperatures in the low to mid-teens, although it has been known to reach the early twenties. There will be some showers in March, but if you book a weeks holiday you should easily be able to get in at least 4 or 5 days of golf in the sun - In fact Mallorca on average has 360 playable days a year. Hotel rooms in March are inexpensive too, so this month tends to be popular with retired golfers looking to make their money stretch as far as possible, and people not worried about how busy the resorts will be.

Unless Easter is early you will tend to find that this is when most of the bar and restaurants in the main holiday resorts open. The weather is drier and warmer in April, and this one of the busier months of the year for golf on the island. Although May tends to be the most popular month for UK Golfers visiting Mallorca, with hotels and golf courses still offering excellent value for money.

In July and August it's too hot for most people to play golf during the middle of day, especially during the mid-afternoon when temperatures are at their highest. Some golf courses have special offers during the summer, which may include discounts for early-morning or late afternoon rounds of golf, or even free buggies.

In early September a lot of the island's golf courses tend to hollow core their greens, so please make sure that you check the latest hollow coring information on our website before making your booking.  This is still a great month for golf, with high temperatures although there is the possibility of an occasional summer storm.  However these normally pass very quickly.

It's also important to bear in mind that the weather in Mallorca is very localised, so if it's raining where you are there's a good chance that there's beautiful sunshine somewhere else on the island!
