Pollensa's 9 hole golf course opened in 1986 and underwent a complete renovation programme in the year 2000 with the help of Mike Pinner, a member of the Jack Nicklaus golf designing team.

It is of average difficulty, and is ideal for players of all handicaps. The course is quite undulating and relatively short with a lot of trees and other hazards. The greens are usually maintained to a high standard, and there are two lakes and many olive and pine trees.

The par-5 5th hole is particularly challenging, as it has a long and narrow fairway, partially lined with trees which lead up to a two-tiered green with two bunkers to the right.

Pollensa golf course has stunning panoramic views over the bays of Pollença and Alcudia, and across to the Tramuntana mountains.
