The Sumba Borneo Hotel complex is situated on the sea front in Cala Millor, and comprises of two hotels; the Sumba and the Borneo, offering a total of 480 rooms. Both hotels were renovated in 2002 and guests will be accommodated in either property, which both share the same array of facilities.

All of the single, double and twin bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, and are equipped with a telephone, individually controlled air-conditioning / heating, satellite TV, a fridge, safe, writing desk and a private balcony.

The bright, spacious, air-conditioned buffet-restaurant offers a wide variety of salads, fish and meat dishes for dinner, as well as themed evenings which have included Chinese, Majorcan and Italian style buffets. There is also an extensive dessert buffet, offering delicious seasonal fruits, a variety of cheeses, ice creams, crêpes and pastries.

The hotel also offers an ‘All Inclusive’ programme which consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all served in the main buffet restaurant.  During meals, red, white and rosé wine, soft drinks, water and beer are offered. Cake & biscuits are available between 15:30 & 17:45, and there is a snack buffet from 22:00 - 24:00. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and hot beverages are available from the pool and lobby bars.

There is an outdoor pool which is surrounded by a large landscaped sun terrace, with sun loungers and parasols. There is also an indoor pool which is heated throughout part of the year, a wellness centre with a sauna and Jacuzzi, and a fitness centre.

The complex has a 24-hour reception which offers a currency exchange facility, and a Wi-Fi connection is available in the lobby.

The Sumba Borneo complex offers good value for money, and is in a superb beach-front location with quick and easy access to the main roads in and out of the resort, and to the nearest golf courses.

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities and the service has improved at this hotel over the past few years.  The variety of accommodation options - bed & breakfast, half board or 'All Inclusive' - give you the flexibility to choose the best option for your party.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of Cala Millor and is mainly popular with German guests.  However, the centre of Cala Millor is only a short 10 - 15 minute stroll away, and there you will find a wide choice of bars shops, cafés and restaurants which cater to all nationalities.
