The Said hotel is located very close to the long promenade linking Cala Millor to Cala Bona, along which you will find a wide variety of shops, bars & restaurants. It is also only a short walk to Cala Millor’s long sandy beach which stretches for 6 km along the coastline.

The grounds of this hotel include two buildings: the main seven-storey building and another five-storey annex, which in total comprise of 193 rooms, including 181 doubles and 12 singles.

All of the hotel’s guest rooms have an en-suite bathroom, a telephone, a hairdryer, air-conditioning / heating, satellite TV, a balcony or terrace and a safety deposit box.

The hotel’s large lobby has a lift to all guest room floors, a 24-hour reception service offering currency exchange facilities and safety deposit boxes. A laundry service, bicycle rental and internet facilities are all available for an additional fee.

The hotel’s restaurant offers a great range of local and international dishes from the buffet, and a ‘Gala Dinner’ featuring the hotel’s finest food is offered once per week. During the day, light snacks and refreshments are available in the snack-bar, and from 10:00 to 00:00 drinks can be obtained from the hotel’s main bar.

The hotel has a large outdoor pool with pool terrace, pool side snack-bar, sun loungers and parasols, and a smaller indoor pool which is heated in winter. There is also a sauna, a fitness centre and a UV-sunbed.

An ‘All Inclusive’ option is also available at this hotel for guests staying for a minimum of 3 nights. The ‘All Inclusive’ option includes breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the hotel’s buffet restaurant. Water, wine, soft drinks, juices, beer, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are offered during meals. Snacks such as sandwiches are available at the bar between 10:00 & 23:30 as well as tea & coffee with biscuits and cakes from 16:00-18:00. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and hot beverages are available between 10:00 and 00:00 in the main bar.

The Said and the Castell de Mar are both 4 star hotels which are located almost next to each other in Cala Millor. The key difference is that many of the rooms at the Castell de Mar have direct sea-views whilst at the Said they do not.

In truth, you can generally make a slight cost saving by staying at the Said, and if you are looking for an 'All Inclusive' hotel then this has to be the choice, as the Castell de Mar does not currently offer that option.  However, the choice is not as easy if you want to stay on a bed & breakfast or half board basis, as the quality and facilities are almost identical.
