The Riu Palace Bonanza Playa has 291 guest rooms spread over 9 floors and is located in the quiet residential area of Illetas.
All of the hotel's guest rooms are decorated in bright colours and have an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, telephone, central air-conditioning / heating (according to season), mini-bar, satellite TV, and a safety deposit box which can be hired for a daily fee. Most of the rooms have fitted carpet and balconies with sea views. Junior Suites have a lounge area in addition to the facilities mentioned above and guests are provided with complimentary bathrobes for the duration of their stay.
Breakfast is served buffet style in the hotel’s restaurant and there is a wide choice of both hot and cold cuisine, as well as hot and cold beverages and Cava. In the evenings hot and cold starters are available from the buffet, whilst the main course is served at the table. A themed buffet is offered twice a week during summer months.
The fresh water swimming pool juts out over the sea, and complimentary sun loungers, parasols and towels are provided. There is a heated indoor pool which is open during the winter and a hydromassage pool with water beds, and the hotel has direct access to a small sandy cove via a pathway lined with palm trees. Additional facilities include a gym, sauna, steam-room, bio-sauna and bio-thermal showers.
At the nearby hotel Riu Bonanza Park there are two floodlit hard-surface tennis courts which can be reserved by guests of this hotel. Other facilities which can be found at the hotel include a card room and reading area, internet access (additional charge), snack bar, various lounges and bars, a beauty salon and a hairdresser.
