The Eurotel Punta Rotja in Costa de los Pinos has a total of 200 rooms on six floors, and has an air-conditioned lobby with two lifts and 24-hour reception service.

The main types of room at this hotel are ‘Superior Doubles’, of which there are 159 rooms, and ‘Luxury Doubles’ of which there are 33. All guest rooms are furnished to a high standard and have a double bed or twin beds, and a terrace or balcony with either sea or mountain views. In addition, each room has an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, telephone, internet access (ADSL), satellite TV, air-conditioning / heating and a safety deposit box. The luxury doubles are furnished to a higher standard than the superior doubles, and robes and slippers are also provided for guests who choose these rooms.

Within the hotel there is a cafeteria, a shop, a hairdressers, a piano bar, a lounge and television room, and two restaurants - one buffet style, the other, à la carte - located in the large, subtropical gardens and with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. There is also a thalassotherapy centre, and outdoor and heated indoor swimming pools.

At the restaurants you will notice that the Eurotel bases its cuisine on healthy Mediterranean foods, using high quality fresh ingredients. For example, on the buffet there is a huge variety of simple and mixed salads which are prepared with the greatest care and dressed with Spain’s finest olive oils.

A chef is also present in the restaurant who will prepare traditional, national and international dishes using fish, seafood, and fresh meat, to your requirements. Asian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Mexican and regional cuisine frequently feature as part of the buffet. A wide selection of home-made desserts are prepared daily, as well as baked goods, ice cream, dairy and fresh fruit. The Eurotel’s breakfast buffet is equally generous and diverse.

The service and facilities at this hotel are excellent.  It's been popular with golfers for many years due to several reasons, although location is probably the key to this. It's set on the edge of a pine forest in a residential area that is populated by many of the island's wealthy residents, and foreign millionaires - so it is incredibly quiet. And it is less than a 5 minute drive to the closest golf course, which is Son Servera, a 9 hole course.

The hotel seems to captivate all who stay there, and we even had one couple who enjoyed their stay so much that they cancelled their return flights home and stayed at the hotel for another week!

The food is superb, and therefore we recommend staying on a half board basis.  However, should you elect to stay on a bed and breakfast basis, then you will almost certainly need to drive or take a taxi in the evenings as there are hardly any bars or restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
