The Dalí hotel is located just off the far end of the Paseo Marítimo, Palma's harbourfront promenade.

The hotel was built in 1974 and latterly renovated in 2004. It consists of a total of 97 large, comfortable and smartly decorated rooms of which 92 are standard double / twin rooms and 5 are superior double rooms - most of which have a large terrace / balcony with views of the Mediterranean sea. All of the rooms at the Dalí have an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, air-conditioning / heating, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, free internet and Wi-Fi. A safety deposit box can also be rented for a small daily charge.

The hotel offers a 24-hour reception service with currency exchange facilities.  Additional facilities include a café, a newspaper stand, a TV lounge and a games room with billiards and table tennis. The hotel’s buffet restaurant serves a wide selection of international and Mediterranean cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and drinks are available from the lounge bar.

The Dalí has a large garden, and one of the largest hotel swimming pools you are likely to find in Cala Mayor.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and room and laundry services also form part of the hotel's amenities.

This hotel always has plenty of golf groups, and we feel its main attraction is its close proximity to the city of Palma.  A taxi ride will only cost a few Euros, and within five to ten minutes you can be tucking into tapas in one of the city's top bars.

The Dalí offers all of the facilities of Palma's best 3 star hotels, but without the city centre pricing - which makes it a very attractive option.  Add helpful staff to the mix and you have a very good choice of hotel.

The only downside to this hotel is the parking. The cul-de-sac that leads up to the hotel is always heavily congested with parked cars, and you may find you have to leave your vehicle in one of the side streets. We recommend that larger groups travelling in coaches are picked up / dropped off at the end of the road to ensure there are no delays.
