Built in 1963 and renovated in 2001, the fully air-conditioned 4 star Barceló Albatros hotel occupies a 6-storey main building and offers a total of 119 rooms. There are 5 junior suites, 21 single and 93 double rooms available, some of which have sea-views.

The hotel's guest rooms have an en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, air-conditioning / heating, a mini bar, direct dial telephone, Wi-Fi and satellite TV.   A safety deposit box is also available - local fee applies.

The Barceló Albatros is a good choice if you are looking for sea-front hotel in a quiet location. However, as Illetas is mainly a residential area, you will need to look further afield for evening entertainment if you enjoy going to bars and restaurants. Taxis are readily available and there is a bus stop nearby, with the journey into Palma taking approximately 25 minutes by bus.
